The 4th edition of the Future Makers incubator welcomes applicants with business ideas or existing businesses to apply for a 4-month digital incubator by June 13.

What is Future Makers?

Future Makers is a digital start-up incubator designed for youth aged 20-30 from 11 countries in CEE. 50 teams will receive a 4-month incubation program consisting of international mentorship, tailored workshops in business, foresight & tech, VC pitches, and financial support of 20.000 EUR.

Submission deadline - June 13

Finalist Announcement - July 1

Incubation Program -  July/October

Final - November 18

Investment pitches - end November

What ideas qualify?

Future Makers challenges applicants to think boldly, whatever the field of activity they are passionate about. Ideas must be concrete solutions to the challenges that the future prepares for us. Whether we are talking about ideas or businesses in education, agriculture, medicine, tourism, trade, or other fields, business ideas must be realistic and have an impact on the target community. Ideas can be new or incorporated in a business no older than January 2020.

How is the selection done?

The 50 participants will enter a digital incubation program for 4 months. An international jury selects them based on 3 main criteria: business model clarity, innovation, and a future-oriented approach. Selected participants are required to cover their participation fees upon selection: early application (by May 16) 200 EUR, and Regular application (by June 13) 350 EUR. Fees are payable in 1 or 2 installments.

What happens in Future Makers?

We support the 50 participants to transform ideas & early-stage start-ups through a series of workshops & webinars, investment pitching training designed to support teams in shaping business plans and strategies. During the program, teams will have the chance to work with mentors from 15 countries to guide them in this process. We offer access to an online resource center, access to global communities like Global Shapers or Futures Space, and financial support of 20.000 euros.

Selected participants are supported to have an investment pitch at the end of November in front of CEE investment funds and business angels. Also, there are opportunities for 10 start-ups to engage with European institutions & business associations in Brussels, during a 3 day visit.
